The engineers at VeldBerg Engineering in Zoetermeer specialize in control technology for water management. We often work on a project basis on systems for water boards and district water authorities, for example in relation to the control of installations for pumping stations, weirs, and inlets.
Control panels for water management
The engineers at VeldBerg have extensive experience in designing, engineering, and installing control panels (PLCs) along with the associated installations and systems. Thanks to our specialized knowledge and experience, we are able to fully understand our clients’ needs and translate them into tailored, appropriate solutions. We follow a customer-oriented approach and take full responsibility throughout the entire process – from design to installation.
Smart management
With a focus on smarter operation and control, we also provide the necessary software and communication systems based on telemetry (using SCADA software). This enables, for example, water levels to be monitored and managed from a centralized control and operation center.

The Sun Control-21 is a water management system we developed ourselves: emission-free and remotely controllable. It is an off-grid actuator for inlets and weirs powered by solar energy. The Sun Control-21 is unique and specifically developed for the reliable remote control of inlets and weirs – ideal for locations without access to conventional electricity.
